The Journalist was a packaging design for a kit for kids to encourage them to become a journalist. Based on the book “The Sandlot” where a Journalist writes down the actions and dialogue of tourists in Union Square, it encourages people to take notes and to take photos of the tourists in Union Square.

The top image is the box for “The Journalist” kit, designed to emulate boxes from 1960s board games while also embodying the rustic idiosyncratic nature of an underground practice.
